What can HTAL do to promote "Double Carbon", energy conservation and emission reduction? That's the question Mr. Wei Li, Founder & President of HTAL, asked himself. To be a socially responsible enterprise has always been a core ideal of HTAL’s since day one.
In recent years, HTAL had continuously honed its development of a sustainable, high-quality production environment as an active response to the government's proposal. And under the new National Standard set forth by GB1589, was able to successfully replace its transport vehicles in an orderly fashion.
Following closely alongside the changing times, HTAL actively engaged in the introduction of green logistics & clean energy, the testing and eventual operation of LNG & EV trucks, the formation of strategic partnerships with commercial vehicle enterprises, and last but not least, the innovation and enhancements of LNG vehicles---leaving remarkable green footprints in every step along the way without exception.
And yet, our journey in exploring green energy is far from over.
On November 1st, 2021, a day of clear skies and warm winds, an EV, pristine white in colour and 4.2metres in length, drives into the BMW Brilliance Engine Plant in Shenyang to officially undergo inter-plant shuttle operations.
This EV is of great significance, as it’s the first fully electric truck belonging to HTAL, marking an important milestone for HTAL to promote the new development of green logistics and accelerate the new exploration of energy saving and emission reduction concepts.
Leveraging this as a starting point, we will work together with upstream and downstream enterprises to create a new journey of green supply chain, to continuously promote the use of new and clean energy, to pave HTAL’s own road of green logistics, and to assist in the sustainable development of the country.
It is reported that this EV is equipped with CATL 81.14-degrees lithium iron phosphate batteries, and as such, is capable of fully meeting our operational needs.
Furthermore, its “endurance” also holds ingenuity of its own, with its full load condition capable of maintaining a constant speed 40km/h of up to 289km, full load condition endurance 180km, comprehensive condition measured endurance 250km.
In the future, we will be investing more in customized electric light and heavy trucks across multiple business sectors, including vehicle logistics, parts logistics and after-sales logistics, in batches and at different scales, and jointly develop and manufacture new energy vehicles suitable for our application scenarios with commercial vehicle enterprises.
According to statistics, an extra 1 liter of diesel consumption is equivalent to 2.63 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions and will produce 0.717 kilograms of carbon emissions. By 2030, China will have achieved "carbon peaking", meaning that carbon emissions will no longer increase after peaking. By 2060, it will be "carbon neutral," meaning that it will emit as much carbon as it absorbs. The goal of "double carbon" is ambitious and inseparable from every enterprise and individual alike. It requires each of us do to our part in contributing to low-carbon environmental protection, and every enterprise should strive to become environmentally friendly.
According to the medium to long-term plan of Huatong Logistics, we will accelerate the development of green logistics and continue to promote the use of clean energy and new energy. Through the construction of smart logistics parks, the addition of photovoltaic facilities, and the realization of energy-saving building materials, the goal of green storage will be achieved. Green logistics will be taken as a breakthrough, green recyclable packaging will be used, Over packaging and secondary packaging will be reduced, and the implementation of green packaging and reduction of logistics equipment will be accelerated. At the same time, relying on logistics Big data, improve the value creation level of the whole logistics chain, and create an intelligent automobile supply chain.
"Green waters and green mountains are gold mountains and silver mountains."
We understand deeply that green, intelligent, efficient is the trend of urban distribution and plant short, also the inevitable choice of green sustainable development in our country.
This is achieved not only through the higher requirements set for HTAL and its related industries, but more importantly, the interactive collaboration of all social sectors.
Together, we will write a new chapter on high-quality sustainable development.
