Huatong Group actively responds to the development trends of the digital era and adheres to Digital Huatong as its digital development strategy, combining actual development and characteristic advantages. Starting from the demand for integrated services in the automotive supply chain, the group continuously undergoes digital transformation and intelligent upgrading in the fields of transportation, warehousing, and other businesses, utilizing new-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and mobile internet.
In 2020, Huatong Group collaborated with Yunjiang Technology to upgrade its existing logistics management platform. The project was divided into two phases, which were completed in 2020 and 2021 respectively. After the upgrade, Huatong Group's whole vehicle transportation management, whole vehicle warehousing management, and component inbound logistics business were all switched to a new comprehensive smart logistics management platform that integrates Order Management System (OMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Financial Management System (BMS). This transformation achieved fine-grained, dynamic, and visual management of the entire business process, providing comprehensive, real-time, accurate, and flexible information support for the group's management analysis and decision-making. It improved the efficiency and service level of the business departments and provided effective technical support for market expansion and customer service. The successful implementation of the project has propelled Huatong Group's logistics management to a new level, greatly enhancing the group's core competitiveness.
According to the warehouse area manager, Ai Chao, after the new WMS system went live, it replaced the traditional manual recording of workload and manually picking up delivery orders. By fully relying on the system, it greatly improved work efficiency. Furthermore, during vehicle reception, referring to the system's checkpoints enables the team to see the current status of vehicle reception, thus effectively monitoring the timeliness of the process. Lastly, in terms of maintenance, previously many system operations required paper records. However, with the implementation of the new WMS system, the paper-based recording method has been eliminated, and the operations have transitioned to a paperless approach. This reduces paper waste and contributes to environmental conservation.
Manager Zhang Qian from the Information Technology Department mentioned that through digital transformation and intelligent upgrades, Huatong Group has achieved end-to-end visualization, dynamic, and fine-grained management of its whole vehicle transportation and warehousing operations. This has provided significant support to Huatong's high-quality development.
In the future, Huatong Group will continue to adhere to its integrated, comprehensive, and international development strategy. It will strengthen the digital technology empowerment in logistics, actively explore the deep application of intelligent technologies such as simulation and twin visualization, data-driven decision-making, AI intelligence, and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots). Huatong will also maintain close cooperation with Yunjiang Technology to build a digitalized logistics ecosystem innovation system, collaborating with both upstream and downstream partners. This will provide robust support capabilities for Huatong Group's high-quality and sustainable development.
