The group serves domestic and international automobile brands such as BMW, Volvo, BYD, Tesla, Geely, and more. It has the ability to cover a nationwide highway network and global shipping layout. The automotive supply chain sector is the core business of the group, and it has extensive operational and management experience in the entire supply chain of vehicles, incoming parts, and after-sales spare parts. It has mature processes and systems for key aspects such as warehousing, transportation, delivery, capacity adjustment, and resource integration. In response to the country’s call for “low-carbon and environmentally friendly” initiatives, the group launched and operated new energy trucks in 2021.
In order to extend and improve the company’s industrial chain and implement the strategy of automotive supply chain integration, a third-party logistics service platform that connects vehicle manufacturers, parts suppliers, automotive dealers, and logistics service providers has been established. During the second five-year plan period, the group continued to make efforts and established logistics real estate division, financial division, and shipping division.
2021 marked the beginning of Huatong Group’s third five-year plan. The group integrated industry resources and demands to establish platform enterprises. The overall strategy for Huatong’s future is integration, comprehensiveness, and internationalization. It aims to support the innovative transformation of the traditional automotive industry, effectively promote the enhancement of supply chain quality and efficiency, cost reduction, and inventory reduction.
